How it works

Four steps from scattered to sent.

Build a profile once, then run every job through the same short loop: add it, check your fit, and generate a CV and cover letter written for that role.

01 · Build your profile once

Upload what you already have: old CVs (PDF or DOCX), a LinkedIn export, notes, a bio. AI reads every source and merges them into one canonical profile, with every role, skill, and date kept, and everything editable. Sources can be in any language; the profile comes out in English.

Cost: Free - and so is your first CV, plus 8 bonus credits.

02 · Add a job

Add any job by pasting its description, or drop a link and RoleApt pulls it in for you. Add as many roles as you like; each is ready to fit-check in seconds.

Cost: Free.

03 · Run the honest fit-check

Get a score and a verdict against the specific role: Apply, Caveats, or Skip, with the reasoning behind it. It is built to talk you out of long shots, so you spend your evenings only on roles you can win.

Cost: 2 credits.

04 · Generate, edit, send

Pick a template and RoleApt writes the CV and a matching cover letter against that job from your profile. Everything downloads as editable DOCX with a clean, ATS-safe layout. Change any word before you send it.

Cost: CV 10 credits (first one free) · cover letter 6 credits.

The honest details

  • The fit-check is optional. You can generate a CV straight away - the fit-check is there to save you from applications that are not worth the evening.
  • Output is English for now. Sources and job descriptions can be in any language; the profile, CV, and cover letter come out in English, and the DOCX is fully editable if you want to translate it.
  • Nothing is invented. Documents are built only from the sources you added to your profile.
  • Credits come as one-time packs. No subscription; purchased credits never expire. See pricing for the packs.

Try the loop on a real job.

Your first profile build and first CV are free, with 8 bonus credits on top - enough for a fit-check and a cover letter. Questions first? See the FAQ or how RoleApt compares.
